I couldn’t agree more. What we choose to feed ourselves and our families on a daily basis dramatically affects the quality of our health and emotional/mental wellbeing.

What exactly does a Holistic Nutritionist Do?
A Holistic Nutritionist doesn’t ”cure” the symptoms (the symptoms are not the problem it is just a way for the body to let you know that there is something wrong) rather they look for the causes which have lead to the present condition and work on creating a balance where an imbalance is present.
Through live, natural, good quality foods the body is able to do its job to get back into homoeostasis, and symptoms will disappear when the root cause of the problem is fixed.
Food is also used as a means to prevent disease and ensure the body is receiving enough nutrients in order to stay healthy.
Holistic Nutrition is based on the age old philosophy of Hippocrates (460-377 BC) the founding father of natural medicine:
”Let food be thy medicine, and thy medicine be thy food”
Through a combination of a diet rich in natural whole foods, supplementation, and lifestyle changes optimum health is possible.
